Love Island's Zach 'humbled and embarrassed' as he gets rejected by bombshell Kady

Love Island's Zachariah felt "humbled and embarrassed" after getting rejected by bombshell Kady McDermott.

During Monday night's episode, Kady and Zach went to the terrace for a private chat where he tried to make a move.

It comes barely a few days after Molly was dumped from the villa after he was chosen by Kady to couple up with her.

During their chat, he told her how she was making him "nervous" which hasn't happened to him before.

Reassuring her of his sudden shy behaviour, he said it was a "good thing" before leaning in to kiss her.

He placed his hand on her neck to make a move but she swiftly held his arm and pulled away from the awkward scenario.

Kady, who first appeared in season two of the show, told him how she wasn't ready for a kiss as she's only just arrived at the villa.

Walking back to reunite with the other contestants, Kady told Zach: "Don't be embarrassed or anything," to which he responded: "No don't be stupid."

However, speaking in the Beach Hut, Zach said: "She rejected me, I respect it... I'm attracted more but humbled, embarrassed."

He even told the boys how the rejection made him like her more and the boys seemed to agree.

Meanwhile, Molly recently shared her two cents on Zach's new coupling with Kady and thinks they won't last long.

Reality star Molly claimed: "I actually don’t see it going anywhere.

"I know Kady mentioned these traits in a guy she wanted and Zach does fit those traits – mature, relaxed and all of that.

"So we’ll see with that and if there is something there then there is and it’s meant to be but I’m hoping there’s not.

"I wish I’d spoken to Zach to say, 'I’ll be waiting. I really want this to carry on.' But no words could come out of my mouth. I was so speechless!"

Love Island continues at 9pm on Virgin Media in Ireland
