Love Island's Michael Griffiths has shown off a dramatic body transformation after hitting the gym hard.
Liverpool firefighter Michael shot to fame in the 2019 series after a rocky relationship with the winner Amber Gill. During his time on the ITV2 reality show, Michael left Amber for fellow contestant Joanna Chimonides.
Since then, the ex-firefighter has made a career change to become a fitness coach, and the results are evident in his physique. He is now sporting longer hair than his previous tight curls. Michael can also be seen with several new tattoos including a large cityscape on his upper abdomen.

Captioning one of his progress photos, Michael said: "Sometimes in life you’re not going to have people around to motivate or push you. You got to do it on your own!" Fan coreywj7 commented: "Looking HUGE bro!! You been eating bricks?!"
The majority of the reality star's Instagram feed documents his gym journey, even accompanied in one post by Love Island's 2018 competitor Kaz Crossley, where the two can be seen working out together. Michael made reference to the 2008 comedy film Step Brothers in one caption, writing: "Did we just become best friends."
Fans of Michael have been consistently supportive in his physical journey, complimenting his "insane gains" and how "sick" he looks. Other commenters have said his body is "goals".
After leaving the villa, the Scouser said how hard it was for him to date and that the show had a negative impact on his personal life. He said: "After Love Island, I found it difficult to date, right now the way I see it I just have to concentrate on myself and becoming the best version of myself I can be by concentrating on work and my career."
Michael moved from Liverpool to Essex where he lived with former co-stars Jordan Hames, Chris Taylor and Danny Williams after leaving the show.
