Love Island 2021 winner Liam Reardon took himself to hospital on Monday, after an attempt to cook a romantic meal resulted in an horrific burn.
Taking to his Instagram Stories on Sunday night, the reality TV star, 22, initially shared some snaps of his blistered foot - asking his followers for some advice on how to treat the nasty looking sores.
The Welsh hunk had been whipping up a tasty looking dish for girlfriend Millie Court, 24, when he tipped boiling oil all over his feet.
"It's getting worse. Any recommendations? And yes I have hairy toes," Liam asked his online fans - sharing a picture of his very painful looking foot.
Things didn't get any better overnight, and on Monday morning, Liam revealed he was in A&E and waiting on medical assistance.
"Thank to everyone for your messages giving advice. I really found it helpful. Keeping my foot in cold water for 20 minutes made a massive difference to the burn," the reality TV updated fans viewing his Instagram Stories.
"Spoke to 111 this morning and they said to go to the hospital. So I got there at 11.30 and it could be another few hours of waiting."
Liam then went on to explain how he was willing to treat the sore-looking burn himself, but was advised not to.
"They're very busy which I understand so I asked the doctor if I could treat it myself as I don't want to waste their time but apparently no," he wrote from the hospital waiting area.
He added: "I'm going to Dublin tomorrow for a few days so I need to get it sorted."
The Love Island star - who won last year's series of the ITV2 dating show - then thanked his followers for their concern and promised to update them on how things panned out.
Dressed in grey tracksuit bottoms and Balenciaga sliders for the outing to A&E, Liam then shared perhaps a little bit too much information about his trip to A&E.
Sharing a gruesome detail with his followers, he added: "One of the blisters burst and shot fluid all over my slider when walking into the hospital [laughing-face emojis]."
Although he injured himself in the process, his romantic gesture for girlfriend Millie was appreciated by the blonde beauty.
Taking to her own Instagram Stories on Sunday night, the Essex star shared a clip of the moment she came home to find a homecooked meal waiting for her.
"So I come home and Liam's made me burger, fries, but in the process, he's burnt his foot," Millie told her followers, laughing as she filmed her injured boyfriend.
"It's not blistered. But thank you babe," she told her partner of almost a year.
The real life Gavin & Stacey began their romance in the Love Island villa during last summer's series - overcoming some Casa Amor hiccups to be crowned the winning couple and receive the £50,000 cash.
