Love Island's Jess Hayes reveals three stone weight loss as she gets cosy with new beau

Former Love Island beauty Jessica Hayes has shed a whopping three stone after giving her lifestyle a complete overhaul following a devastating split from her ex-fiancé

"I feel like I'm the old Jess again now," she said in an interview with new! magazine, explaining she feels like a better version of her old self.

Her transformation comes after she got engaged to Dan Lawry last spring – a joyous event that came six months after the couple lost their second child to a late miscarriage at 19 weeks – a little boy named Teddy.

After losing Teddy and then splitting from Dan, the 28-year-old decided to give her lifestyle a shake up – which in turn resulted in a three stone weight loss journey.

Speaking to the magazine Jess said: "It's like I'm me again. Now I look back at photos of me from the last couple of years and I'm like, 'Who is that girl?'"

Jess added that the lifestyle shake up was the first time she's properly focused on herself over the past few years, explaining: "Over the years I've had two pregnancies, then with the break-up and everything, I've never really focused on myself.

"I struggled to lose my baby weight, even two-and-a-bit years on. And I just wasn't living a healthy lifestyle. I got to a point where I didn't feel confident any more and just felt rubbish.

"I thought, 'I've got to do this for me and my son. I was 12st 7lbs, and I'm now 9st 7lbs. I'm about 5ft 5in, so I was overweight and now I'm what I should be."

Jess followed a meal plan from MuscleFood and went to the gym twice per week – dropping two dress sizes in a matter of months.

She has also recently undergone breast surgery to get implants – giving her the figure she was aiming for.

Not only does she have a whole new look, but she's got a whole new love life too.

The former Love Island champion told the magazine some information about her new beau – but ensured she kept quite a lot under wraps.

She explained that the early stage of their relationship is "going well" and that she feels as though they are "meant to be".

When she split from her fiancé she spoke to new! magazine in a different interview, when she explained that the whole ordeal had been "really difficult" to process, but she was trying to remain positive going forward.

"At first I found it really difficult. It was hard to get my head around it," she said.

"If you'd asked me this time last year, I never would have expected this ... you don't expect everything to unravel so quickly."

"To lose a baby and the person you thought you were going to have more children with and get married to, it's been a bit of a shock really."
