The mum of Love Island contestant Jacques O'Neill has pleaded with the public to stop sending nasty messages about her son.
Janet Wright issued a plea on her Instagram page, telling her followers that the messages about Jacques "hurt". Her comments came after Remi, who was axed from the ITV2 show, claimed Jacques was a "bully" and made his time in the villa "s***".
Ms Wright posted a photo of herself with her son on the rugby field and wrote: "People sending nasty messages to me please can you stop. It does hurt. Thank you."

Her followers were quick to offer support. One told her to "pay no attention".
Another follower said: "Ignore the trolls! They troll because they don't have lives and have got nothing better to do."
Remi claimed he had to stick up for himself on YouTube series Reality with Will Njobvu. He said his co-star would "constantly" mimic and make fun of his fellow Islanders, Birmingham Live reports.
Remi said: "There was a lot of stuff that wasn't aired - a lot of stuff going on. So basically - me and Jacques got into quite a lot of arguments and it just made my experience s***t. It ruined it for me."
"People were saying, "It's because he's got a rugby persona' - but you can't treat people like that," Remi added.
