Jacques O'Neill is enjoying his home comforts as he spends some quality time with his mum following his Love Island exit.
The reality TV star, 23, has taken to Instagram to open up about his mental health and share several snaps of himself catching up with pals and his beloved mum, Janet Wright.
Rugby player Jacques quit the ITV2 earlier this month, after admitting he couldn’t "carry on like this" during some of his final scenes from the Spanish villa which aired on July 12.
He left behind Welsh paramedic Paige Thorne - pledging to meet her at the airport when she eventually returns home - but she has since gone on to strike up a romance with comeback star Adam Collard.
Jacques' most recent Instagram updates come in the wake of ITV denying the former Islander was 'pressured' to appear on spin-off show Aftersun after his teary departure from the Love Island villa.
Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Jacques - who lives with condition ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) - thanked fans for their support as he gave an update on his mental wellbeing.
"I just want you all to know that I’m in such a better place mentally. A huge reason for that is because of all the love and support I have received," he told his followers.
"I’d be in a much darker place if it wasn’t for all of your kind words, so thank you again I appreciate it so much."
He went on to share an adorable snap of himself cuddling up to his mum in a car park, captioning the sweet snap: "This woman. [love-heart emoji. World emoji.]"
Sharing the same picture to his Instagram Stories, Gemma Owen's ex-boyfriend went on to explain how he and mum Janet had been spending their Saturday.
"Back to the standard Saturday taking R Jan out for tea [love-heart emoji]..." he wrote to his 951,000 followers.
He went on to share another shot of himself alongside his mum outside a restaurant, before going on to share some inspirational posts with his fans.
Captioning a video of UFC fighter Paddy Pimblett urging men to discuss their feelings more, Jacques wrote: "Some man honestly. Talks sense no other way to do it."
Scouse fighter Paddy was praised for his comments surrounding mental health on Saturday night, as he dedicated his victory over Jordan Leavitt at UFC London to his late friend.
Speaking after winning his fight, Paddy explained how he learned on Friday that his friend Ricky had taken his own life, and urged men not to suffer in silence in an emotional post-fight interview.
Jacques shared on extract of Paddy's speech to his Instagram Stories, which reads: "There is a stigma in this world that men can’t talk.
"Listen, if you’re a man and you’ve got weight on your shoulders and you think the only way you can solve it is by killing yourself, please speak to someone, speak to anyone."
The reality TV star added: "Facts right there."
On Sunday, Jacques enjoyed another benefit of being back home as he dined out at a local Nandos with a pal.
"Mad how much I missed this place," the former Islander captioned a shot of his meal. "Haven't been out of here since getting home."
As Jacques settles back into life back in England, former flame Paige has been growing closer and closer to Geordie hunk Adam.
The pair - who are coupled up - have been sharing a bed every night and kissing, with lothario Adam uncharacteristically staying loyal despite new bombshell arrivals.
Speaking about his budding romance with the rest of the boys, Adam recently said of Paige: "She's not going to be the one who's going to be like 'don't do this, don't do that'. She's cool - and she get's on with you, that's the best thing."
