Love Island new boy Jack Keating had revealed that his dad Ronan will be watching him on the show, adding that the singer is “buzzing,” he’s going on.
On Friday Jack, who is from Dublin but lives in London, was confirmed as one of the Casa Amor boys, with six of them going into the ITV2 programme’s infamous second villa to join the main Love Island girls.
And Jack’s arrival will bring him face to face with the other Islander with a famous dad, Gemma Owen, as she leaves love interest Luca Bish behind in the main villa. The 23-year-old’s Love Island appearance comes as dad Ronan tours the UK. But it sounds like the Boyzone star will be rushing to watch once he leaves the stage every night as, in his intro interview, Jack, who works in social media marketing said: “He will be watching when I’m on it for sure. He’s buzzing for me, me and my dad are very close, we’re best mates.”

Asked why he’s doing Love Island, Jack said: “I’ve been single for a long time, probably 4 or 5 years now and I’ve really been missing that spark that I haven’t been getting on the dating scene, like I’ve been dating for a long time.
“And I just thought why not? Hopefully I’ll get a connection with somebody and see what happens.”
He added: "I learned a lot from my last relationship. I feel like I’m a very giving person. I’m romantic and caring - I do wear my heart on my sleeve. I do put other people first, whether that’s my girlfriend, friends or family. I’m very much a guy who always would make sure she is ok. I’d make her feel special."
