Love Island 2022 contestant Dami Hope is ready to "play the field" once he gets inside the Spanish villa next week.
The 26-year-old senior microbiologist from Dublin is heading to Majorca for a summer of fun, and he's all for treading on some toes to get what he wants.
Asked if he's gonna get stuck in straight away, Dami told The Mirror and other press: "Yeah definitely - that's what I'm going to do straight away, play the field! For sure."
However, he's got some pretty strict rules when it comes to who he dates - and it's all about astrology for Dami.
"For me personally, I always make it a thing to know a person's horoscope," he explained.
"For instance, if it's like a Pisces girl - I don't try and judge them off horoscopes - but if it's a Pisces girl, I tend to try and stay away because you know... I don't know what's wrong, I just feel like you guys are very good emotionally getting people to do what you want."
Asked why he's single at the moment, Dami said: "There's a lot of girls and some of them are pretty good catches but there’s just something that is not there for me."
He went on to describe his dating history as "very diverse", and revealed: "I’ve dated different people from different cultures. I’m very open minded about it."
He's also not willing to hang around if one of the girls in the villa is interested in him.
"I’m respectful, I wouldn’t force anything. If someone isn’t eager to get to know me I wouldn’t force anything but if she’s eager to get to know me, it’s fair game - I’m going to get that girl!" he admitted.
Speaking ahead of the show's eighth series, Dami also said: "This year I was kind of being more open to new things and I think actually that's why I put myself out there to get some new experiences.
" Love Island is a different experience, I will be talking to different girls, it might not go well with some, might go well with others, so it’s a fun experience."
*Love Island starts at 9pm Monday 6th June on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
