Love Island bombshell Coco Lodge has claimed that Islanders secretly use their phones to have conversations with one another underneath their duvet covers.
The reality star alleged that Islanders write messages on their devices to tell each other who they are picking in the recoupling to how they are being perceived in the outside world.
The 27-year-old, who was recently dumped from the villa, spilled the beans on all the behind-the-scenes gossip on Tuesday’s Capital Breakfast with Roman Kemp.
Asked about the use of phones in the villa, the graphic designer said: "We write message to each other on the phone.
"I’m just telling people what Tik Toks are out about them, with the boys I think they did it before the Casa Amor recoupling to tell each other who they’re picking, so it wasn’t so secret, so the boys knew who to have their back."
To which Roman asked: "Are they asking about their followers and stuff like that?"
Coco replied: "Yeah everyone’s always asking about that, they’re all very interested in their Instagrams.
"We also had like a 24 hour break before the Casa Amor recoupling just to get into the boys head a bit, so have them thinking about whether we are the better option than all their girls."
The ITV2 starlet also shared her shock at the vile trolling she received online when she got her phone back after leaving the villa and admitted she “didn’t expect” the flood of negativity towards her on social media.
"I just didn’t expect it because I wasn’t prewarned,” she added.
"When I got my phone back, it was literally on the way to the airport and I was reading all these comments about my appearance, and how I look, and I was literally shocked.”
It comes as four Islanders face being sent packing on Tuesday night’s episode.
Ekin-Su receives a text inviting all the Islanders to a VIP party at Vibe Club, with the text promising #IslandVibes and #SunSeaAndSpillTheTea.
As excitement sweeps across the villa the Islanders put on their best outfits and head to the club where they are greeted by a set from superstar DJ Joel Corry.
Unbeknownst to them, they are about to receive a surprise visit from host Laura Whitmore, who interrupts the party for a brutal dumping
Laura says: "Hello Islanders, how are you all doing? Having a good time? I am not here to join in on the fun sadly and I am afraid the party is over, could you all please line up by the pool."
The host reveals the public have been voting for their favourite boy and girl and the two boys and girls with the fewest votes risk being dumped from the Island tonight.
