Amy Hart has shared her son’s name after announcing his arrival earlier this week.
The former Love Island star, 30, has welcomed her first child with boyfriend Sam Rason and posted a series of photos with their bundle of joy in hospital on Tuesday.
Hart has revealed that her son’s name is Stanley in an update, as she explained the name was given in honour of her beloved grandad.
The presenter posted cute new snaps of her baby boy as she wrote on Instagram: “Stanley Samuel Giles Rason.
“Stanley: We loved the name and also Amy’s Grandad Geoff’s middle name.
“Samuel: After @samuelrason obviously but also Amy’s brother is Samuel too!
“Giles: Nanny and Grandad’s last name, hopefully he’ll inherit their love of shots! [photos: 1) a couple of hours old, Baby Stanley already got Mummy’s back to prove that Amy’s big lips are indeed genetic 2) when Daddy says he’s going home for the evening]”.
Fellow new mum Molly-Mae Hague showed her appreciation of Hart’s son’s name – along with followers, who offered their praise in the comments section.
“Beautiful Stanley, adorable,” commented Hague, who welcomed her first child in January.
Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby, also a new mum, wrote: “Absolutely gorgeous,” while Billie Shepherd, who welcomed her third child in December, sent her congratulations in the comments.
Hart revealed in September that she believed she conceived in Venice, Italy, where she had also bumped into Loose Women panellist Denise Welch. Hearing this, Welch, 64, insisted at the time that Hart should name her baby after her.
Welch joked in the comments: “I’m so happy for you!!! Especially as I made it happen in Venice”, adding laughing face emojis.
Hart humorously suggested that her son should be called “Stanley Denis Rason”, after Welch, after being reminded of the previous encounter.
Hart was seen beaming in photos beside partner Rason and their baby boy as they announced the birth of their son this week.
The new mum told fans she was “so in love” with her newborn son, after sharing that she had finally returned home after five days in hospital to start their new chapter as parents.
