Love Island recoupling tonight as Casa Amor's stick or twist returns

The main villa and Casa Amor are set to come together for a dramatic recoupling during tonight's [Wednesday, July 6] episode of Love Island. It means the original Islanders, who have been separated for the past few days, must decide whether to stick with their current partner or twist and couple up with a bombshell instead.

In scenes set to air tonight, the contestants will receive a text telling them that a recoupling looms and they need to decide whether to stay with their original couplings or change. The Islanders have mixed reactions to the news.

Welsh paramedic Paige Thorne says: "I am one of those people that is a glass half full, I am actually really excited to go back just so I can see Jacques again." While Tasha Ghouri adds: "Ok things are getting real now…"

Meanwhile, in the main villa, Dami Hope — who has been getting to know Summer Botwe but is coupled up with Indiyah Polack — tells the boys: "My head's fried, scrambled, whatever way you like your eggs. That's the way my head is right now. I'm scared."

Later that evening the Islanders in the main villa are told to gather around the firepit. Host Laura Whitmore then enters to begin proceedings as viewers find out who will recouple and who sticks with their partners.

It comes after a dramatic few days that have seen Dami, Andrew Le Page and Davide Sanclimenti kiss the new girls outside of challenges, despite being coupled up with Indiyah, Tasha and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, respectively. Jacques O'Neill, who is paired up with Paige, also decided to "crack on" and is currently getting to know Cheyanne Kerr, while Tasha has locked lips with Billy Brown.

Elsewhere Michael Owen's daughter Gemma Owen and Luca Bish appear to be still going strong, the 19-year-old was spotted wearing the fishmonger's ring and hoodie while in Casa Amor, sparking a big reaction among those at home. You can read more on this here.
