Love Island viewers were fuming tonight as winners Ekin Su and Davide took home the £50,000 prize - and the love or money question was never asked.
On every other series of Love Island, the final saw the winning couple given one more choice - whether to split the £50,000 prize money between them - or steal it for themselves.
But the chance to deprive their partner of the other £25,000, thus proving whether they were really in the show for love or money, was never given tonight.
Host Laura Whitmore told viewers at the beginning of the episode on Monday night that this year, the money is not a choice and the winning couple will be forced to share the £50,000 no matter what.

The change means it's the first in the history of Love Island that there wasn't a Love or Money choice at the end of the final.
And viewers are absolutely fuming at the change, with many going as far as to tell ITV that it defeats the entire point of the show.

Others have said that there should be more than £50,000 on offer, and that ITV should have jacked the prize pool to at least £1Million.
