Eagle-eyed Love Island fans spot 'unusual bruise' on Davide's cheek

Eagle-eyed Love Island fans spotted what appeared to be an "unusual bruise" on Davide Sanclimenti's cheek during Friday's episode.

The ITV2 show aired another dramatic episode, which ended in a recoupling as fans panicked whether Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu would get to choose before Nathalia Campos and keep Davide for herself.

The pair even got in a war of words earlier in the evening where Nathalia branded Ekin-Su as "Ekin-who", but they settled their differences with a pancake cooking competition, which the Turkish actress ended up winning.

But fans took to social media as they noticed some markings on Davide's cheeks - and thought they could be bruises.

"Does anyone else see a bruise on davide's right cheek? #LoveIsland," one fan penned, as a second added: "Is it just me who’s seeing a bruise on Davide’s cheek? Am I imagining things? #LoveIsland."

Before he entered the show, Davide set out a five year plan - and it involves settling down and having kids.

"I'm 27-years-old so I'm getting serious about my goals. If I find someone that I really like then yes I would love to settle down and have kids - not straight away," he told The Mirror and other press, "Maybe I'd look to get married in four or five years maximum, but this naturally depends if I find someone that I really want to spend my life with."

But if him and Ekin-Su do end up together, he won't want her to learn too much Italian.

"The girl who will be my life partner, I'd probably want her to learn some Italian. But not much because otherwise she can understand everything we're saying in Italian," he cheekily joked.

Ahead of the villa, Davide described himself as an "Italian stallion".

"I’m going to be the Italian stallion in the villa! With my Italian charm, I can also be a very romantic guy," he added.

"I’m good looking and I’ve realised since I first arrived in Manchester, a lot of English girls actually love me. They love to be around me and I love to be around them. It’s going to be fun, I’m looking forward to it."

*Love Island airs Sunday night at 9pm on ITV2.
