Love Island fans spot Gemma's cheeky wink during ex-boyfriend Jacques' striptease

Love Island fans went wild on Tuesday night, as they suspected they caught Gemma Owen winking at her ex Jacques O'Neill during his sexy dance routine.

Michael Owen's daughter, 19, had an eventful time during the latest episode of the ITV2 show - starting off with a a major slip-up with Luca Bish, who she’s currently coupled up with.

Gemma - one of this year's original contestants - accidentally called her partner Lucas by her ex-boyfriend's name, after rugby star Jacques entered the villa as a bombshell last week.

The dressage star claimed it was a "mistake" and there was "nothing more to it" after the mix-up, but eagle-eyed Love Island viewers spotted another sign Gemma may still be into her sports star ex later on in the show.

During a car-themed challenge dubbed 'Men-Chanics', the male Islanders were put through their paces carrying their partners whilst they jump through oily tyres, while being sprayed with water by the other boys.

Wearing tight, sparkly briefs the boys then head to the carwash where they performed a sexy dance for their partner sitting in the front seat.

Despite being coupled up with Lucas, Love Island viewers are convinced they caught Gemma giving Jacques a cheeky wink as she danced for

"did gemma just wink at jacques?? i am TIRED #LoveIsland," one fan asked on Twitter, with another adding: "did yall see gemma wink at jacques or was that just me #LoveIsland."

A third penned: Did Gemma wink at her ex? LOL."

"DID I SEE THAT CORRECTLY OR DID GEMMA JUST WINK AT JAQUES," another shocked viewer asked social media during Tuesday night's show.

Elsewhere on Tuesday night's episode, Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page became the first couple to spend a night in the hideaway.

Despite the blonde beauty claiming she and the hunky estate agent didn't go all the way when chatting to the girls the next day, many fans suspected that wasn't the case prior to her denial.

The visit to the private room also prompted the Islanders the reveal this year's new codewords for sexual acts and 'doing bits' - with viewers watching at home cringing at the post-hideaway chat about 'manicures' being given in the private room.

" ITV really has these sex scenes archived somewhere. Imagine editing that LOOOOL #LoveIsland," one viewer mused on Twitter as their evening in the hideaway was broadcast on ITV2.

"they deffo did the sex #loveisland," another suspected, with a third penning: "i wouldn't look at my parents again if I had sex on live TV cause what!? #LoveIsland."
