Love Island fans went mad for Maya Jama as she slow-mo strutted into her first ever summer series. The hit reality dating show returned to ITV2 tonight with fresh new single faces entering the villa for a summer of love.
The tenth series got off to an unconventional start, as fans were quick to notice that the boys and girls were entering the villa at the same time, rather than one sex entering before the other. As the first two girls - Jess and Ruchee - were surprised to find Mitchel following them into the villa, two more singletons, André and Ella, joined them.
Hot on their heels was Maya, who instantly stole the show in a white lace maxi dress, her enviable dark locks in beachy waves. As the Bristolian bombshell caught up with the new cast members, some of whom had already set their sights on a fellow contestant, she revealed a major twist; members of the public had already coupled them up.

One by one, Maya introduced new islanders into the mix, including Bedford boy George and musical theatre performer Molly, whose famous mum, Coronation Street star Janet Marsh, was surely watching along at home. But, despite all the sexy new singletons landing in the villa, it seems that viewers were entranced by the host, who they claim is the "hottest one in the villa".
Maya's outfit was a hit with viewers, with fans claiming on social media they would swerve their fellow contestants for the former Cotham School pupil. "I couldn’t be on #LoveIsland because I would want to couple up with Maya Jama tbh," one fan tweeted.
"Ere if i was a lad on that show I'd ask to couple with Maya," said another. That woman is GORGEOUS."
A third wrote: "Maya is the hottest in the villa."
Maya made a showstopping entrance to the villa tonight (June 5) as she hitched a ride to the famous Spanish abode on a yacht. She looked the epitome of summer in her £2500 Cult Gaia dress, which she accessorised with gold hoops and a bold red lip.
It is Maya's second stint as the host of Love Island - and her first summer series - since it was announced she would be taking over from Laura Whitmore in late 2022. Her January debut was met with rave reviews, with fans unable to get enough of her incredible wardrobe and natural presenting style.
