Love Island Ekin-Su's team claps back as Davide Sanclimenti's Instagram account takes brutal swipe

Davide Sanclimenti's "team" have taken a brutal swipe at Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu. Those running the Italian bombshell's Instagram account posted a lengthy statement on the platform, calling the actress "desperate".

Ekin-Su and Davide are currently coupled up, but things have been rocky between the pair with Ekin-Su left in tears earlier this week after Davide failed to make her a morning coffee. "It's the simple things," she explained in the beach hut, "It's not about buying you the best things."

Wednesday night's episode then saw new contestants Jay Younger and Remi Lambert arrive and go on three dates with the girls of their choice. During Jay and Ekin-Su's date the pair shared spaghetti as Davide looked on from the balcony. "I do not like these kind of games," the business owner could be heard telling the boys.

And those running Davide's Instagram account have reacted to the show, taking to Instagram they wrote: "How about you make your own coffee.

"Over the past few days we all had to tolerate a desperate attempt to steal the show. Like Davide said 'something is not quite right' and we really hope he figures out what's really going on and takes action. He's got a big heart and deserves someone genuine, someone on the same Pa(i)ge [wink emoji]."

Quoting what Ekin-Su said to Jay, the post continued: "'I'd rather be in bed with you'… If you want to be treated like a lady, act like one first.

"On behalf of Davide, Thank you all for your support, it means so much to him. Yours truthfully, Davide’s team."

Those running Ekin-Su's account hit back, sharing the post they wrote: "I just wanted to make sure we understand the roles in handling insta accounts. We are supposed to be neutral and little digs to other cast members should not be tolerated.

"Most behaves [sic] on the show have been designed for audiences entertainment. No hate just lessons being learned."

Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
