Love Island Edinburgh contestant Jay praised by viewers as 'respectful'

Tuesday night's episode of Love Island was a particularly dramatic one, showing the fallout from the previous night — which saw new connections being made between the contestants and the new arrivals.

After Dami and Andrew kissed newcomers Summer and Coco, many viewers who were formerly supporting the lads had their opinions quickly changed.

With Dami and Indiyah and Andrew and Tasha seemingly on the rocks, as well as Jacques and Paige, some Love Island fans praised Jay for not showing any bad behaviour.

As a result, many have decided that the investment analyst is their new favourite man in the villa.

Posting on Twitter, one said: "Shout out to Jay who, despite being the only single guy, has been very respectful of the Casa Amor girls and hasn’t acted like the other halfwits".

"Since when did Jay turn into one of the respectful guys," agreed a second.

A third echoed: "Wow Jay is my fave boy now... who would’ve thought".

"You know it’s bad when Jay seems like the nicest guy," a fourth joked.

Many others shared their appreciation for the blossoming relationship between Jay and youth support worker Chyna.

"I'm rooting for Chyna and Jay now," one revealed, while a second agreed: "Jay and Chyna ftw".

"Jay and Chyna I am awake," a third tweeted.

A fourth shared: "I have to back Jay and Chyna at this point because he’s the only one being respectful about it".

A fifth meanwhile questioned: "Why am I hyped over Jay and Chyna?"

"I’m digging Jay and Chyna," echoed a sixth.

A seventh pondered: "Wait Jay and Chyna kinda cute tho"
