Love Island has confirmed its biggest twist will be returning for 2022. Casa Amor, which translates to Love House in Spanish, sees the contestants split between two villas and new Islanders introduced to push couples to the limit.
ITV2 announced Casa Amor would be returning at the end of the episode on Thursday, June 30. The iconic flashing neon sign played at the end of the instalment signalling fans will soon see the famous second villa on screens.
Confirmation of Casa Amor's return came after an already dramatic episode which saw three couples at risk of being dumped from the island. Tasha and Andrew, Antigoni and Charlie, and Dancia and Jay learned they had received the fewest votes from the public and were now vulnerable. You can see a full list of dumped contestants here.

As the couples stood around the fire pit, a text alert sent to Danica read: "Only one boy and one girl will be going home tonight. That decision is in the hands of your fellow Islanders."
Ekin-Su then read out a text that said: "Girls, you must now decide which boy to dump," while the boys received the same message for the girls. The Islanders looked devastated as Love Island rolled to the credits with the results set to be revealed in Friday night's show.
A teaser clip for tomorrow night then played with Iain Stirling telling viewers: "The wait is over. Casa Amor... is coming."
For those not familiar with the twist, each year it sees the boys and girls split up with one half of the contestants moving to a separate villa where they are joined by a new batch of singletons. Those remaining at the original villa are also joined by new contestants.
Casa Amor is often at the centre of the show's most dramatic scenes as couples are tested and new love is found. After a few days the Islanders must choose to stick with their current partner or choose to couple up with a new contestant, without knowing what their other half has decided. You can read more about it here.
Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox. For more showbiz and television stories get our newsletter here.
