Love Island fans were sad to see Will and Jessie dumped ahead of tomorrow night's final, but weren't surprised after Maya Jama revealed who the dumped couple were in the ad break teaser for After Sun before viewers saw it in the episode.
Towards the the end of the episode the islanders received a text message which reads: “Can all Islanders please gather around the fire pit immediately.”
The three vulnerable couples at risk of being dumped from the Island are: Kai and Sanam, Will Jessie and Lana and Ron.
The islanders then learn the public has been voting, as text messages inform them: “Islanders, you voted Jessie and Will, Sanam and Kai and Lana and Ron as the least compatible couples. They are all vulnerable and at risk of being dumped from the Island tonight, however only one couple will go home and that decision is in the hands of the public.”
Sanam and Kai were the first couple to be saved by the public, and then it was revealed by text message that Ron and Lana were saved, meaning Jessie and Will were dumped.
The pair went on to say their goodbyes and left the villa hand-in-hand as boyfriend and girlfriend.
But many fans took to Twitter to say they weren't surprised after Maya 'spoiled' it.
One wrote: "lets just act surprised when will and jessie go home #loveisland."
Another added: "Sorry did no one else just see that advert for aftersun where they blatantly exposed that Will and Jessie are going home what’s going on."
While one said: "how producers expect us to watch this after just telling us will and jessie were dumped in the ad break #LoveIsland."
Another penned: "“join us when dumped islanders Will and Jessie” WHATT we didn’t even see it but thanks I’m off to bed #loveisland."
While one said: "Not Maya accidentally leaking that Will and Jessie got dumped."
Speaking about their exit, Jessie said: "It would have been nice for us to get to the final, but I’ve left the Villa with Will and he’s my boyfriend, so that’s good! I’m heading to Will’s farm for the interim! I’m very excited to go there. I’ll be looking to move to London. Samie and I were going to look at apartments so we’ll see how all of that goes."
Will added: "Leaving Love Island is a very sad time, obviously. Starting right at the beginning and almost making it to the end, you’re a little bit sad. However, I feel like I’ve found what I’m looking for in Jessie and made some lovely best friends along the way, too.
"The first plan is for Jessie to come to the farm and help me with lambing and then I think for us, it’s about just taking every day as it comes."
The dumping means that Lana and Ron, Sanam and Kai, Samie and Tom, and Shaq and Tanya are in the final which will air tomorrow night.
*Love Island airs tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
