A woman, who identifies herself as Kate, says a beach vacation breakfast led to an embarrassing accident inside a Louisiana souvenir shop, according to a video she posted on TikTok. She said the incident happened three years ago, when she was 19 years old.
According to her account, Kate and her mother had eaten breakfast at a Waffle House before walking to a store called Alvin’s Island. She said she was wearing a pink swimsuit at the time and had ordered hash browns “extra smothered, extra covered,” which she said means extra cheese and extra onions.
Kate said that once inside the store, her stomach began to hurt, and she believed she had a bathroom accident while standing in a T-shirt aisle. She said she wiped her hand on a T-shirt on display because she could not find a bathroom to clean up in.

In the video, the woman said she first suspected something was wrong when she felt her stomach “rumbling” and “bubbling.” She said she asked her mother, “Hey, can you please look in my swimsuit bottoms? Just pull them back, see if you see anything back there.” According to her, her mother said she did not see anything, but the woman said she “just didn’t believe that.”

She said she then reached into her swimsuit herself to check and said she found what she described as “dookie” on her hand. She said she wiped her hand on a nearby T-shirt because she did not have any other option. “I have nowhere else to wipe my dookie,” she said in the video.
She said the store did not have a public restroom available for customers, which she said she found surprising. “They didn’t have a bathroom for their customers, which I think is crazy,” she said. In another case, a Philadelphia woman went to Dollar Tree to buy a pregnancy test and was escorted to the back.
She also questioned in the video whether she should have told an employee about the incident. “Am I supposed to go up to the counter and tell them, hey, this is dookie on my hand, do you have something I can wipe it off with?” she said.
According to her account, she then told her mother what had happened, and said her mother also had an accident of her own after hearing the news. “My mom pees on herself,” she said in the video, adding that the two accidents happened from “two different people, not even the same person, just two different people on the same aisle.”
She described the moment as chaotic, saying there was now waste from her mother and herself in the same store aisle. She said she told her mother they needed to leave immediately, recalling that she said, “We got to get out of here. We need to leave right now.”
According to the woman, the two then left the store and walked back to where they were staying, a trip she said took about 15 minutes. She said her mother had urine on her clothing during the walk, while she had stains on her swimsuit from the earlier incident. “15 minutes, dookie stains and pee,” she said in the video, summarizing the walk back. The woman shared the story publicly on TikTok, saying in her introduction that she wanted to give people “a real reason” to criticize her, appearing to reference comments she said she had received from other users. She did not name the specific store location or say whether she or her mother ever informed staff about what had happened before leaving.
