It comes after a family-run store in Dublin was revealed as the shop where Ireland’s newest millionaire bought their winning €1 million Lotto ticket.

A newsagent in Clontarf, Dublin 3, was confirmed as the store where the lucky player bought their winning Quick Pick Lottoticket.

The National Lottery announced that Cleary’s Mace store on St Gabriel’s Road is the shop where the ticket was sold ahead of Saturday night’s Lotto Plus 1 draw.

Darren Cleary, who runs the family-run store for his parents, Fred and Mary Cleary, was delighted to hear that one of their local customers could be Ireland’s latest Lotto millionaire.

“We are absolutely thrilled. The store is situated in the heart of the community here in Clontarf, so we are hoping that the winner is from the St. Gabriel’s Parish," he said.

"We have been spreading the word this morning for everyone to check their tickets so there is a great buzz about the place today. It is a great day for the town.”

The National Lottery has confirmed that the Clontarf Lotto player who has become Ireland’s 14th National Lottery millionaire of 2022 has yet to make contact to claim their prize.

A spokesperson said: “We have yet to hear from this lucky winner, so we are asking all our Lotto players who bought a ticket for Saturday’s draw to check their tickets very carefully.

"If you do happen to be this lucky winner, be sure to sign the back of the ticket and contact our prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and we will make arrangements to get your prize.”

The winning numbers in Saturday’s Lotto Plus 1 draw were: 04, 05, 06, 29, 46, 47 and the bonus 01.
