Los Angeles County Faces Devastating Effects of Heavy Rainfall and Mudslides
Los Angeles County is currently experiencing a dire situation due to heavy rainfall and subsequent mudslides. Over 300 mudslides have already occurred, causing significant damage and loss of life. The recent atmospheric river passing through the area has brought a deluge of rain, equivalent to half of Los Angeles' annual rainfall, within just two days. This has resulted in the eroding of hills, destruction of homes, and the tragic loss of four lives.
