Los Angeles County Sheriff Robert Luna has announced that additional members of the state’s National Guard will be arriving in the next 12-24 hours to assist with ongoing efforts in the area.
According to Sheriff Luna, national guardsmen have already been deployed to the Eaton Fire area to provide support with road closures and critical infrastructure protection. The guardsmen arrived last night and have been actively assisting with these tasks.
