Scottish TV presenter Lorraine Kelly made a special appearance at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow as a volunteer, saying she would not miss “the chance to get stuck in”.
Kelly took on three roles as she joined the 4,000-plus volunteers, known as “legends”, at the games: welcoming the workforce, meeting Team Scotland netball players before their training session, and later joining the spectator services team to greet the public and help fans find their way around the venue.
