Lorraine Kelly and her husband Steve Smith celebrate 30 years of marriage today and the Scots presenter shared a throwback wedding snap to mark the occasion.
The ITV presenter took to Instagram to share a snap of herself and her hubby on their wedding day three decades ago. In the black and white photograph, Lorraine is smiling in a white gown and veil, while Steve, donning a traditional Scottish kilt, kissed his wife on the head.
Alongside the post, the 62-year-old wrote: "Celebrating THIRTY YEARS today! Thanks for all the laughs and silliness @steveandangussmith xxx #weddinganniversary #thirtyyears #happy #fun #goodtimes #laughs."
And many of Lorraine's fans took to the comments to wish the couple a happy anniversary. One wrote: "Beautiful photo. Happy anniversary hope you have an amazing day."
Another wrote: "Awww. Beautiful photo of you both ! Happy Anniversary to you two “Love Birds!“" While one said: "Wishing you both a very happy 30th/Pearl wedding anniversary today!"
During today's show, ITV's Andi Peters congratulated the Scots star on the milestone. Looking at the wedding snap Lorraine posted on the big screen, Andi said: "We're celebrating Lorraine's wedding anniversary! Look at that how many years ago was that?!"
Lorraine replied: "That was 30 years ago today!" Andi cheekily added: "Can I just ask was that photo in black and white because there wasn't colour back then?" The pair giggled and Andi went on to say that Steve, a former camera man, was a lovely man, to which Lorraine chimed in: "He's a walking saint!"
When joined by First Dates' host Fred Sirieix, Lorraine asked him how the couple should celebrate their anniversary and Fred joked: "It's a daytime TV show Lorraine, not sure I'm allowed to!"
Lorraine met Steve while he was working as a cameraman on TV-am and was instantly attracted to him. Speaking previously to Woman and Home, Lorraine said: "He walked into the TV-am office 28 years ago where I was working as a reporter and he was part of the crew, and I thought, 'That'll do, I'm having that.'
"We were friends for a good year, then it all happened rather quickly when we had to do a shoot on location at Glencoe. We were staying in a tiny hotel in the middle of nowhere and I got him incredibly drunk on tequila before making my move.
"The way I remember it is that I leapt on him like a ninja and he had absolutely no defence!" In 1994 the couple became parents to Rosie, who is their only child.
