Regular Loose Women panelist Sophie Morgan has shared an update from her hospital bed after "complications" following an operation.
Sophie, 37, has worked in TV for almost two decades. In 2021, she was a lead presenter for Channel 4's TV coverage of the Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, and has since appeared on Loose Women a number of times as a panelist.
On Wednesday, she took to Instagram to update her followers. Sophie said she was "in hospital atm. Complications post minor op. Sharing this to highlight that it takes a LOT for disabled people to find the energy to fight when their bodies are a battleground as is".

The Loose Women star also filled fans in regarding ongoing proceedings, as Sophie claims British Airways broke her £5,000 wheelchair in transit last month. Sophie was left paralysed after being involved in a car accident aged 18.
Sophie said: "Progress update: Letter to PM from MP about to be circulated for signatures. Aviation experts consulting. Campaign launching next week. Global partnerships being established."
She previously told the Express: "An attack on a wheelchair is an attack on a human being. They are part of us, they are not luggage. I struggle with someone even touching my wheelchair, as it's the same as touching a person's legs".
A BA spokesperson told the publication: "We're extremely sorry for Sophie's experience and we're investigating what happened as a matter of urgency. We've been in contact with Sophie to sincerely apologise and to resolve the matter with her directly.
"We carry hundreds of thousands of customers who require additional assistance each year and we work hard to provide help and support them throughout the whole journey. It's extremely disheartening when things go wrong, and we don’t underestimate the impact this has.”
