Loose Women got very heated as the panel discussed politics earlier today.
Amid concerns over Prime Minister Liz Truss and her recent apology to Tory MPs, Linda Robson took the opportunity to throw her support behind former Conservative Party leader Boris Johnson once again - making several comments that didn't go down well with co-star Coleen Nolan and those watching at home.
Viewers of the ITV show claimed the Birds of a Feather actress 'hasn't got a clue' about politics and called for her to think about what she says on-air, as Linda recalled Johnson saying hello to her a few times when she bumped into him near her home.
Following Janet Street-Porter laying into Britain's current Prime Minister - calling for Truss to be replaced by a 'boring' MP by the end of the day - Linda didn't miss a chance to ponder about a possible return to frontline politics for Johnson.
"I always get slaughtered online [when I support Johnson] but I do," Linda admitted on the ITV show.
The actress went on to explain how she would often bump into the politician near her home, before placing the blame firmly on Carrie Johnson for the rule-breaking that occured in 10 Downing Street at a time when Covid-19 restrictions were in place across the country.
"Oh, be quiet," Coleen told Linda as the actress gushed about Johnson on the latest edition of Loose Women.
Viewers watching at home were equally unimpressed, with one tweeting: "Someone should tell Linda Robson that just because Boris Johnson said hello to her in Islington a few times, doesn’t mean he’s a great person and it certainly doesn’t mean he can run a country… #LooseWomen."
Another fuming fan wrote: "Get a f***ing grip Linda. You’re too stupid for these discussions so the best thing to do is keep your mouth shut. We don’t want Boris Johnson back #LooseWomen."
"Linda Robson is so unbelievably stupid it’s unreal. She’s just gone off on one of her speeches about how great Boris Johnson was as PM because 'no other prime minister dealt with COVID'," another scathing tweet read.
"Linda’s Boris obsession is just embarrassing #LooseWomen," a third tweeted, but one fan did seem to have Linda's back, writing: "I never agree with Linda, but right now I would welcome Boris back to! #loosewomen."
The heated debate on Loose Women was sparked following the Prime Minister reportedly finally sorry to Tory MPs - three days after her bizarre nine-minute press conference where she failed to apologise, according to No10.
Her remarks came as Jeremy Hunt urged furious MPs to "give her a chance" and said he believed she would still be Prime Minister at Christmas.
