Loose Women's Coleen Nolan won't rush to find love after split from Tinder boyfriend

Coleen Nolan insists she isn't in a rush to find love following her split from her boyfriend.

The Loose Women star took part in a discussion today about love and later life on the ITV lunchtime show and she shared her own thoughts on romance, just over a week after it was confirmed she and Tinder boyfriend Michael had gone their separate ways.

During the show today, Coleen explained she wouldn't mind finding love again - but insists she doesn't want to rush for it and would only want to embark in a new relationship if she felt it was the "right" guy.

As they discussed if there was a stigma to being single in later life, Coleen shared: "Obviously I'm romantic and I love love so I'm always open to meeting somebody and falling in love and it's lovely.

"I won't just meet someone and settle for that because I'm getting older and I might not meet someone else."

Concluding her comments, she added: "If it's not right, I don't want it."

Last week, it was revealed Coleen and her ex Michael split quietly in April.

A spokesperson for Coleen told the Mirror Online recently of the pair's decision to go their separate ways: "Coleen and Michael are no longer together but remain great friends and are on good terms."

"Coleen and Michael were together for just over a year and while they were happy at first, the spark fizzled out in the end," a source added to The Sun, "They quietly broke up in April but have stayed close.

"She is looking forward to the future and possibly meeting someone new but there is no rush."

Michael and Coleen had previously opened up about their romance, where she admitted she knew straight away after their first date that she really liked him and wanted to give it a go.

"At the end the pub owner was like, 'I’m not forcing you to leave but I’m just taking my dogs for a walk.' He left us in the pub!" she said, "I knew I really liked him. The kids had been texting me saying, 'Are you still alive?' So when I got back I told them, 'I really like him.'"
