Loose Women's Coleen Nolan 'mortified' and 'sick' at new man's 'first TV interview'

Coleen Nolan was mortified on today's Loose Women after the panel invited her new man on for their first TV interview together.

The entertainment personality introduced her new boyfriend, Michael Jones, to the spotlight in an interview with OK! Magazine.

Coleen met the 57-year-old on Tinder and hinted they were considering marriage after seven months together.

Coleen gushed over her new relationship on Tuesday's edition of the popular ITV programme.

She said: "He is the most laid back, calm, takes everything in his stride kind of guy I've ever met.

"He's just really gentle and lovely - and brings such calm to my very hectic life."

However, Coleen was tricked by her panellists when they claimed Michael was in the studio to join her for their first TV interview.

Ruth joked: "You've obviously done your first magazine interview with OK!

"What you haven't done is your first television interview together. and if you are going to do that it would have to be here on Loose Women."

However, the panellists erupted in hysterics when a member of the backstage crew revealed it was a prank after an empty chair was brought out to the studio.

Ruth took responsibility for the prank and Coleen said she was "mortified" after the joke.

She added: "I feel literally sick and I hate you Ruth Langsford. "

Coleen joked Ruth would no longer be a bridesmaid at the wedding as punishment, before insisting she has no plans for marriage.

She added: "Why am I even picking a bridesmaid? I'm not even getting married."

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV and ITV Hub
