Loose Women fans are loving Denise Welch's new look

Viewers who tuned in to Loose Women on Tuesday spotted Denise Welch had a new look.

The latest instalment of the daytime programme saw the Geordie TV personality joined by panelists Charlene White, Janet Street-Porter and Brenda Edwards.

As Charlene and Denise entered the studio, both were in fits of laughter. Charlene said: "This is what happens when they sit me and Denise next to each other.

"We always end up in fits of laughter". She then added: "Welcome to your Tuesday's Loose Women, I wish I could tell you what we've just been talking about, but I can't."

But fans at home were distracted, as Denise had a new look. The 64-year-old wore a new pair of thick, dark glasses, and those watching at home were loving her new look.

Taking to Twitter, Jess said: "I love Denise's glasses, she looks fab". Mim said: "[I am] tempted to get some glasses like those", while Charlotte said: "Glasses on point Den".

Denise recently came under fire after fans were less than impressed with her "expensive" new role on the show. Last month, she spent some time in America.

Viewers saw Denise reporting stateside in a number of Loose Women segments in May. And while plenty of fans loved these reports, some viewers have criticised them - asking "who footed the bill?".
