Bears quarterback Justin Fields regularly shows his extraordinary athletic skills on the football field, but how do those skills translate onto a basketball court?
That question was answered recently when the Bears participated in a team-building event focused around basketball at the United Center on their last day of organized team activities.
In a video posted Thursday, Bears players can be seen trying to make shots from all over the court at the Bulls’ home arena. One of the best shots from the event came from Fields as he stood on the Bulls logo at half court. The Bears star casually drained the shot as if it’s something he does regularly.
Fields posted a video on his Instagram story with the caption “This for the [people] who keep saying I missed it.”

Fields, who’s entering his third NFL season this fall, became just the third quarterback in league history to rush for over 1,000 yards last season. He finished with 1,143, just 64 yards short of Lamar Jackson’s single-season record at the position. Fields also set an NFL single-game record of 178 rushing yards by a QB on Nov. 6 against the Dolphins.
