Some Londoners feel “unsafe in their own city” due to the level of phone thefts, says a Labour MP and ally of Sir Sadiq Khan.

Brent East MP Dawn Butler also advised Londoners leaving a Tube or rail station to go into a nearby shop before getting out their phone as these areas are “hotspots” for thefts.
