London travel news LIVE: Delays on Piccadilly line & DLR hitting morning commuters

Delays are disrupting the DLR and Piccadilly line this morning, with a number of train cancellations affecting services.

Services between Clapham Junction and Willesden Junction are also recovering following a broken down train earlier this morning.

Meanwhile, the Metropolitan line has no service between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Amersham, Chesham, and Watford.

Meanwhile, the Metropolitan line is part closed between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Amersham, Chesham and Watford, with replacement buses in operation.

Starting today and until Monday, there will be no service on the Metropolitan line between Harrow-on-the-Hill and Amersham, Chesham, and Watford.

There will also be no Chiltern Railways services between Marylebone and Aylesbury Vale Parkway via Amersham.

North Circular update

There are delays on the North Circular northbound today at the junction of A406 Hanger Lane Gyratory, with two of three lanes closed to facilitate Thames Water works.

Traffic is slow moving through the restrictions, with delays expected.

There are minor delays on the Jubilee line between Stanmore and Green Park southbound only due to train cancellations.

There is still a good service on the rest of the line.

DLR update

There remains a good service on all other routes.

Mildmay line update

The Mildmay line has reopened with a good service between Willesden Junction and Shepherd's Bush, following a late running freight train earlier this morning.

Piccadilly line update

There are currently severe delays on the Piccadilly line between Acton Town and Uxbridge & the Heathrow Terminals due to train cancellations.

There are also minor delays on the rest of the line.

London Buses and Elizabeth are accepting valid tickets via any reasonable route.
