London is facing a period of yet more miserable weather, with rain expected every single day over the next two weeks.
According to BBC Weather, the capital will be hit with near non-stop rain - with showers due every day between today (Thursday, February 5) and Wednesday, February 18.
The bleak outlook is confirmed by the Met Office, whose long-term forecast suggests that “cyclonic patterns” will dominate the UK during mid-February.
Frontal systems over the Atlantic are likely to approach the UK at times, resulting in showers or longer spells of rain which will be heavy at times, while strong winds could also develop in places.
The forecast for the latter half of February is equally grim, with low pressure systems expected to dominate for much of the country.
Meanwhile, the Met office has issued warnings for rain across parts of the UK for today and tomorrow, with the south and south west particularly affected.
