Drivers will get new rights to challenge unfair private parking charges, alongside crackdown on car dealers winding back mileages - (PA)

Drivers in London are set to get new rights to challenge unfair parking charges, including a guaranteed five minutes to decide whether to park, the Government has announced.

Motorists in the capital and across the UK will be given 10 minutes once their session ends to vacate the car park, under the new Private Parking Code of Practice.
