LOCALS were left raging after a woman shared that her “wee dog rolled in human faeces” at a village on the NC500.
The incident, revealed on the Kinlochbervie Facebook group, reportedly happened at the slipway at the town’s harbour.
“He’s just going for shower number three,” said Paula.
She added later: “I just can’t get rid of the smell. I’m going to have to soap him down again.”
We have previously reported how tourists on the popular route have dumped toilet waste, including near a cemetery in Sutherland despite toilets being just one mile away.
“Even if someone was caught extremely short, surely they would clean it up. Obviously not. Sickening,” said one local.
Another added: “Public toilets should be opening soon. They will still probably defecate wherever they want. We are dealing with a different breed of tourist these days.”
