Loan shark robbed Edinburgh waitress with another man after she borrowed money

Edinburgh

A loan shark who robbed a teenage waitress and throttled his lover during a series of attacks has been allowed to walk free from court.

Adam Polinkiewicz rummaged through an 18-year-old's clothing before taking her iPhone after demanding she pay him back the money he loaned her.

The 27-year-old admitted acting with another man to assault and rob the waitress in Pilton Drive North, Edinburgh, on 18 July 2018.
