Liz Truss declines to rule out raising the state pension age

Liz Truss has refused to rule out raising the pension age - triggering fresh fears among older people.

The Prime Minister was quizzed about any plans to hike the threshold at which people can start receiving the State Pension, currently £185.15 per week.

State Pension age is gradually increasing for men and women, and will reach 67 by 2028.
