Jurgen Klopp's have had an impressive season on the domestic cup scene with a Carabao Cup final appearance later this month and eyes on the FA Cup seem like the next step for the Reds.
There is the chance Klopp might give new signing Luis Diaz the chance to have a taste of English football this weekend after his £50million transfer was completed but it would be unlikely for the German head coach to rush a player in so quickly.
For Cardiff, they have been in fine form of late producing back-to-back league wins against bottom-of-the-table Barnsley and play-off hopefuls Nottingham Forest.
