What's the latest team news?
Liverpool are facing an anxious wait on the fitness Thiago Alacantara, whose return from a hip injury has been further hampered by a chest infection.
Divok Origi is back in full training, but Sunday may yet come too soon, while Naby Keita has returned following his exploits at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Mo Salah and Sadio Mane are both unavailable given they are preparing to face off in the final in Cameroon, while it remains to be seen if Luis Diaz will play any part following his move from Porto.
One man who will definitely be involved is Harvey Elliott, who is due to be included in the squad after a five-month spell on the sidelines with an ankle injury.
As for the visitors, Cardiff boss Steve Morison will be without Sean Morrison, who has been ruled out for the season, and Alfie Doughty, who is out for up to six weeks, after they were both forced off with injuries during the win over Barnsley in midweek.
Doughty would have been unable to play regardless, given he is already Cup-tied for this fixture, as too are fellow January arrivals Cody Drameh, Uche Ikpeazu and Max Watters.
Joe Ralls and Curtis Nelson are also struggling with knocks and face late fitness tests.
What the managers have said:
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp: "It's massive. We are not the most successful FA Cup team since I have been here! We are ambitious.
"Thiago trained with us, unfortunately he has a little chest infection so had to step aside again. We will see how he can use him for Sunday. Naby is fine."
Cardiff City manager Steve Morison: "We need to go there and enjoy it. You don't want to leave there with regrets. You don't want to be thinking 'I wished I'd tried this or I was too scared to do that'. You've got to go there and thoroughly enjoy it.
"You're standing there in the tunnel and start walking then all of a sudden You'll Never Walk Alone starts going and it doesn't matter who you are, the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. It's an unreal feeling and I'm looking forward to being part of that again."
