Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said it "looks like" Mohamed Salah will be available to return to training ahead of matches against Arsenal and Nottingham Forest.
The Premier League side are in action tomorrow on Wednesday at Arsenal four days before facing the Reds at the City Ground in an FA Cup quarter-final. Steve Cooper 's side have a free week ahead of the crunch tie. Salah was withdrawn with a foot problem minutes after converting a penalty during Liverpool's 2-0 win over Brighton and Hove Albion. The injury has since been identified as a cut.

Speaking at a press conference previewing the Arsenal match, an injury update was delivered by the Reds boss. When asked if Salah will be available, Klopp replied: "Looks like (it). Mo is a tough cookie and he was only a little bit cut, we were quite lucky with it. It was swollen, painful, yesterday a little less swollen, less painful. “Now I got the message before the press conference that Mo is ready to train and we will see how that looks.”
Klopp's side have also been boosted by the return of summer signing Ibrahima Konate, who missed both matches last week against Inter Milan and Brighton. “Ibou (Konate) is back. Millie ( James Milner ) and Kostas (Tsimikas), I understand in this moment, are out, and that's it,” Klopp added. The latter two have been on the sidelines with illness this week since the trip to the south coast.
Steve Cooper 's Reds have significantly more injury issues to contend with after yesterday's double blow that defenders Steve Cook and Max Lowe both face six weeks out of action. The pair were forced off during the weekend's 4-0 win over Reading, with the latter being replaced by Cafu.
