Gabriel Agbonglahor has suggested Liverpool should cash in on Mohamed Salah and replace him with ‘perfect’ replacement in Leeds United’s Raphinha. The Whites face a long and tough summer as they try to keep hold of their Brazilian winger, with Barcelona and Arsenal among several European suitors.
Liverpool were briefly linked with a move for the winger as a replacement for Sadio Mane, who looks set to join Bayern Munich, and the Reds were looking at using Japan international Takumi Minamino as leverage in a potential deal. But Jurgen Klopp instead turned his sights on Benfica forward Darwin Nunez, and with a £64 million deal for the Uruguayan all but sealed, interest in Raphinha had cooled.
But now former Aston Villa striker Agbonglahor has suggested that Liverpool should move on Salah - who bagged 23 Premier League goals last season - while they can earn a fee, replacing him with 11-goal Raphinha.
