A leading European football agent has advised Liverpool how much it will cost them or other suitors to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappe, who joined PSG in 2017 initially on loan from Monaco before a £165.7 million transfer a year later, has been linked with a move to Anfield in the past. On Thursday, Edu Aguirre, a journalist from Spain, claimed the Reds had tabled a €200m bid for the forward.
"What has occurred in the last few hours in the offices of PSG is that an offer from Liverpool has arrived," he said via Sport Witness.
"Liverpool have entered the scene. Liverpool have made a €200m offer for Mbappe. The offer from Liverpool that has arrived in the last few hours in the offices of PSG is of €200m. Al-Khelaifi has put Mbappe up for sale."

And now, according to football agent Bruno Satin, Mbappe would cost around £170m - but he believes only Manchester City, Newcastle United and Real are able to afford the French World Cup winner.
"It's difficult to give a price for Mbappe," he told French publication L'Equipe. "A normal club, that is to say, not a club-state, will not, in my opinion, pay £170m today. In my opinion, only Manchester City, Newcastle and Real Madrid can pay today.
"For me, the real price is between £85m and £130m, after which there can be bonuses to go up to £170m or almost. If there are few suitors, it is not likely to increase its price."
The claim by Aguirre came just weeks after Mbappe informed PSG in a letter sent last month that he would not trigger the additional year’s extension to his contract, meaning he could leave for nothing in the summer of 2024.
A statement released by the player’s representatives read: "After maintaining publicly in recent weeks that he would be a PSG player next season, Kylian Mbappe has not asked to leave this summer and has just confirmed to the club that he would not be activating the extra year.
"The management of the club in charge of the extension [was informed] as of July 15, 2022, of the decision [not to continue beyond 2024]. The statement then said: "The letter was only to confirm what had already been clarified orally beforehand."
Speaking at the unveiling of Luis Enrique on Wednesday afternoon, club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi said Mbappe must sign a new contract if he wants to stay at Princes Park.
He said: "Our position is very clear. If Kylian Mbappe wants to stay - we want him to stay - he needs to sign a new contract. We cannot let the best player in the world right now leave for free. That is impossible."
Before he added: "This is a French club, and, as he has said, he is not planning to leave for free. If somebody has changed his mind, it is not our fault."
Speaking in May last year, Mbappe revealed that he thought about joining Liverpool before deciding to stay at PSG and discussed a potential move when was set to depart Monaco in 2017.
“We talked a little bit, but not too much. We talked a little bit,” he told the Daily Telegraph. "I talked to Liverpool because it’s the favourite club of my mum, my mum loves Liverpool.
“I don’t know why, you will have to ask her! It’s a good club and we met them five years ago. When I was in Monaco I met them. It’s a big club.”
