Who?
Jude Bellingham
Where?
Why?
Liverpool's hopes of landing Jude Bellingham this summer appear to have been dealt a blow after the player's current club, Borussia Dortmund, insisted that he won't be sold in the off season.
Both the Reds and Manchester United have been in hot pursuit of the talented 18-year-old, but according to Football Insider, a recruitment source has claimed that the German club have no intention of letting one of their prize assets move to the Premier League. The club is believed to have already agreed a deal that will see top striker Erling Haaland join Manchester City at the end of the season and they are in no rush to lose another important player to the Premier League.
Bellingham's current contract runs until 2025, but it is understood that Dortmund are prepared to offer the Englishman increased terms and are planning to sign his 16-year-old brother Jobe Bellingham.
Who?
Konrad Laimer
Where?
Why?
Liverpool have been linked with a summer move for RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer.
According to German outlet Kicker, as cited by SportWitness, Liverpool are 'looking' at bringing in the 24-year-old this summer, though face competition from Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
Under contract until 2023, it is claimed that the Austrian 'wants to focus' on seeing out the season with his current employers before making any decision over his next step.
Who?
Fabio Carvalho
Where?
Why?
Fulham boss Marco Silva is insisting that he knows nothing about an agreement that will see Fabio Carvalho sign for Liverpool this summer, despite a deal rumoured to have already been signed.
The Craven Cottage boss was speaking during his pre-match press conference ahead of Fulham's match against Bournemouth this weekend. He said: “As you expect I am speaking with our board every single day, and until now I didn’t receive news about it. If there’s something, a clause or not with any club. For that, I don’t want to talk about rumours or if something is true or not.
"He's been fantastic, he is a fantastic boy. I got him with just one year left on his contract, possibly the [only] bad thing I can think of. I'm 100 per cent sure he will have a very good career ahead of him because he deserves it."
