Our city brings so many different elements to its nightlife, so no matter where you go there’s something for everyone. Whether it be the many award-winning pubs we have or the different types of nightclubs, here in Liverpool we like to think that we know how to have a good night out.
Now, it’s official. Liverpool has been named as one of the best places in the UK for a night out. According to Get Licensed, the city is among the best nights out in the UK, ranking at number 30.

To find out where the best and worst places for a night out are, Get Licensed compared a range of factors, including but not limited to: bars and clubs per 100,000 people, pubs per 100,000, the average cost for a pint of beer, and the feeling of safety when walking alone at night as per data collected by Numbeo, the world’s largest cost of living database.
Once all that data was compiled, it was found Liverpool has 78 pubs per 100,000 people with an average cost of a pint at £5.11. It was also claimed 46% of people feel safe when walking alone at night.
While Liverpool ranked at number 30, cities such as Newcastle upon Tyne, York, Warrington and Telford made the top of the list. You can take a look at the complete list here.
