Liverpool will host Norwich City in the fifth round of the FA Cup after beating Cardiff City.
The Reds booked their place in the last-16 with a 3-1 win over the Bluebirds given to them by goals from Diogo Jota, Takumi Minamino and Harvey Elliott, who marked his return from injury by opening his account for his boyhood club.
Liverpool took on Shrewsbury back in January and came from behind to beat the League One side 4-1 to progress into the fourth round.
And now Championship outfit Cardiff have been dispatched, a home tie with Premier League rivals Norwich awaits.
The fifth-round matches take place the week commencing Monday, February 28, 2022 and £180,000 will be collected should the Reds progress even further.
Liverpool have already reached one domestic cup final this season as they prepare to face Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final later this month.
The Reds' last FA Cup final was also against the London club back in the 2011/12 season, with Chelsea winning 2-1.
