Liverpool are said to be 'monitoring' the progress of Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams, following the player's breakthrough season in La Liga.
The 20-year-old wide player scored three times in 39 appearances for Marcelino García's side last year despite making most of his appearances from the substitutes bench.
Direct and agile, Williams can operate from either flank and loves to run at his full-back with pace. Appearing against both Real Madrid and Barcelona too, it is hoped the winger can go on to excel once more in the upcoming season.

However, according to Spanish publication AS, the Reds do already see potential in the player, as Jurgen Klopp continues to plan his rebuild for the upcoming seasons.
Bringing through the next talent of stars has been no more apparent than the clubs summer business, with both Darwin Nunez and Calvin Ramsay acquired.
Luis Diaz has replaced the outgoing Sadio Mane, with Williams perhaps another who Liverpool will be keen to watch his development before launching a full scale attack.
Having already represented Spain's Under 21 side on five occasions too, it is hoped the player can go from strength to strength whilst gaining vital game time in the Spanish top flight.
