Liverpool midfielder Fabinho has predicted incoming Manchester United arrival Casemiro to flourish at Old Trafford.
The duo play together on the international stage for Brazil, each occupying the pivot position. They will be at odds tonight, though, when United host Liverpool with both teams winless from their first two games.
Casemiro is expected to be unveiled as Erik ten Hag’s fourth signing of the summer in the coming days, becoming the much-needed deep-lying midfielder the club have craved.

Fabinho - who lost to Casemiro's Real Madrid in May's Champions League final - praised his countryman as “a smart guy” and is backing him to do well in Manchester.
"I played with him [ Casemiro ] in Real Madrid's second team and with the national team," he told the Telegraph. "He is a friend, we always have conversations and he is a good guy.
“Of course, he will be a good signing. Casemiro is a smart guy, he is a good player, he is strong, he is good in the air, so it will not be hard for him to adapt to the Premier League.”
