Jurgen Klopp has offered his sympathy to Frank Lampard after the former Chelsea midfielder was sacked by Everton earlier this week.
The Blues currently sit 19th in the table and host league-leaders Arsenal in their next outing before travelling to Anfield for the Merseyside derby. After losing to West Ham last weekend, Everton bosses took the decision to sack Lampard, with his side losing eight matches as they went on a 10-game winless run.
And asked about the former England international's sacking, Klopp told reporters that Lampard was unfortunate at Goodison Park and expects him to return to management before too long.

"That is the business usually, that is how it goes," he said. "Of course I feel for Frank. He tried everything. Last year it was not easy as well when he arrived. I think he did well.
"This year after losing Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin not coming back, we all know how injuries can really impact the season, in these decisive positions especially. That is what we in this job have to accept, if these things happen.
"Frank will come come back, definitely. It’s clear. He is still a young coach, a young manager, and everything is ahead of him."
Meanwhile, Klopp also reacted after being informed that Sean Dyche is set to replace Lampard as Everton manager.
"Yeah, I don’t know. You do?" he asked reporters. "It’s clear (but) I saw Bielsa landing! But he only had a private appointment? I don’t know."
