Arne Slot fears Jeremie Frimpong could be set for a significant spell on the sidelines after he appeared to suffer a new hamstring injury during Liverpool’s Champions League win over Eintracht Frankfurt.
Frimpong was named to the starting lineup against his former club, but completed less than 20 minutes. He pulled up and received treatment after a quarter of an hour, and had to be replaced. He looked forlorn as he hobbled off the pitch to be replaced by Conor Bradley, who impressed as the Reds marched to a confidence-boosting 5-1 win.
